I just returned home from the 3rd Annual NCH Joint Conference on Homeopathy that was in Providence, R.I. this year. Wow! My brain sure is crammed full of new information! I don't even know where to begin...
I attended the special all-day Friday session given by Dr. Andre Saine, an N.D. who practices in Quebec. All I can say is he's amazing! He is the kind of homeopath I aspire to be, although I don't know that I will ever have as much information as he has in his head as a second generation homeopathic N.D. He needs to impart as much of that knowledge to as many homeopaths as possible.
I also had the opportunity to see Jeremy Sherr, whose research is truly amazing. One could spend years just studying his provings and have enough to do. His latest project in Tanzania with AIDS patients is incredible work that is so valuable.
There were other speakers, Dr. Jawahar Shah comes to mind, who were inspiring and educational. I don't even know which direction to turn next...there is so much more to learn.
I picked up a great book on vaccinations called "Comparing Natural Immunity With Vaccination" by Trevor Gunn. It's based on a lecture he presented that "challenges many of the assumptions made about vaccination, and in particular looks at the main question that should be asked, that is, do germs cause disease?" It's a great primer for those just delving into whether or not to vaccinate, and also for those who have already chosen not to vaccinate to hand to nay-sayers questioning their decision. It should be in everyone's personal library, in my opinion.
I have returned with renewed motivation to step up my studies. I feel a sense of great urgency to be as knowledgeable as possible about health matters so that I can help as many people as possible live long, strong, and prosperous lives, and to save as many children from dangerous vaccinations as possible.
